SPONSORED: A Wine Tasting in the City

California Wine

I’m not exactly the most savvy wine connoisseur despite going to a couple of tastings myself, but hell yeah, I love drinking it anyway! Whether you want to pre-game before heading off to Wine Country up north or want the experience in the city without the one-hour-ish drive, I present you the Verlocal experience you must take. Kimberly, a world traveler/wine consultant/aspiring Certified Specialist of Wine, invites you to her San Francisco home  for a small gathering where she will offer a crash course on the most popular California wines.

You will taste five or six different wines and learn about the notes in each of them. You will learn about the best wineries to visit in Wine Country, and if you’re thinking about restaurants to dine at or bed and breakfasts to stay at for a night or two, Kimberly will be happy to give you those recommendations as well. You may be familiar with the wines you’ll be introduced to, or maybe they are completely new to you. Either way, who can complain about drinking wine? This is a lovely experience to learn from a long-time San Francisco resident and to taste wine in a smaller and humble yet classy setting. Each event in this experience is capped at ten participants.

Swirl, smell, taste, and love in this crash course on California wine. Request the experience on Verlocal now!

Verlocal is an up-and-coming marketplace for people to share unique local experiences. Hosts offer up their expertise in areas like cooking, crafts, dance, or simple city knowledge, and guests can immerse themselves in those experiences offered. Each month, I’ll be highlighting a fun and exciting Verlocal experience based in the San Francisco Bay Area. For more experiences and more information on Verlocal, including how you can be a host in your city/region, visit the Verlocal website. To find out about past experiences I’ve highlighted on the blog, check out the Verlocal tag.
